It all began back in the 1980s. Blondie was at the top of the record charts, The Empire Strikes Back was in theaters, M*A*S*H was on TV, and the Rubik’s Cube made its debut. That was when Harold and Anne Clarke, an enterprising young couple, were hired to develop the American market for an exclusive European linen manufacturer.
It wasn’t long before the Clarkes had built a significant presence for their employer. However, Harold and Anne knew they could do better for their clients. Thus, in 1990 they formally launched H&A Clarke.
H&A Clarke was founded under the guiding philosophy that we did not exist to make quick sales. But rather, our team was there to become a long-term partner with our clients to help fulfill their needs. The overwhelming need then, and now, was for a high quality, customized product, that is budget friendly and delivered in a timely manner. Delivering upon this promise would require speed, flexibility, and an unrelenting attention to detail.
For 30 years, H&A Clarke has been successfully meeting the needs of our clients, which includes approximately 200 luxury five-star and boutique hotel properties, spas, and cruise lines located across the U.S. and Caribbean. We rely upon our design team to create customized products, analytics team to forecast product usage, and operations staff for quality control and timely deliveries.
